Pneumatic Gauges:

The pressures of the applicator and its modules can be viewed with the three pressure
gauges located on the front (top right side) of the faceplate (see figure 4-9). Notice that
the gauges can be read from the front or the side.
The top gauge reads the pressure of the Tamp Vacuum Pressure. This is the pressure
that is available to create the vacuum that is used in the Venturi system (available air
flow). This is what holds the label up to the tamp pad while waiting to be applied.
The middle gauge reflects the pressure
of the Tamp Cylinder. This is the
pressure that is used to extend and
retract the cylinder rod (The tamp pad is
mounted to the cylinder rod). The
bottom gauge lets the operator know
how much pressure is being used in the
air assist system (Air assist is the tube
suspended under the peel plate. See
figure 4-7 and 4-8 above). Adjustment of
these gauges is accomplished from the
back of the machine with a flat head
screwdriver (see figure 4-10, arrow
shows adjustment screw).
