Operation via the dentist or assistant element

Switching the operating light on/off
The operating light is always switched on at the set brightness level, see
"Adjusting the brightness" (below).
Operating light
➢ Press the
element.
If the operating light is switched on, the LED of the fixed key lights
up on the dentist and assistant elements.
Set the brightness, color temperature and sensor control of the
operating light
The brightness, color temperature and sensor function (On/Off) can be
adjusted via the dentist element user interface.
Furthermore, the distance from which the contactless sensor should react
to movements can be adjusted.
1. Press and hold the
(> 2 s).
The operating light settings screen is displayed on the
touchscreen.
2. Use the – and + keys to adjust the desired brightness of the operating
light (7 levels). The – key reduces the brightness, the + key increases
the brightness.
3. Use the – and + keys to adjust the desired color temperature of the
operating light (3 levels). The – key reduces the color temperature,
the + key increases the color temperature.
Sensor control
4. Touch the
If the key is highlighted in orange, the contactless sensor can
control the operating light. The keys for adjusting operating
distance are displayed.
5. Use the – and + keys to set the desired operating distance for the
contactless sensor. The – key reduces the operating distance, the +
key increases the operating distance. You can check the setting
directly on the operating light without leaving the settings screen. The
adjustment should be selected in such a way that unintended
operation of the contactless sensor is not possible.
