Scope of this operating manual

This document describes the operation of the LEDview Plus operating
light as a unit model in the treatment center or as a ceiling light on the
ceiling model (international product name: Ceiling Model).
The LEDview Plus can be operated as a unit model with the Teneo, Sinius
range and Intego range treatment centers. The LEDview Plus is attached
to the lamp support tube of the treatment center. It is operated via the user
interface of the treatment center and the proximity sensor.
The ceiling model is a ceiling-mounted support arm system for the
LEDview Plus ceiling light or the ceiling combination, consisting of
LEDview Plus and an X-ray tube assembly.
As a ceiling light, the LEDview Plus is operated on the ceiling model
independently of a treatment center. It is operated via the contactless
sensor or the integrated keyboard.
As a ceiling combination the LEDview Plus ceiling light is operated on the
ceiling model together with the Heliodent Plus X-ray tube assembly. The
LEDview Plus ceiling light is operated via the contactless sensor or the
integrated keyboard. Operating instructions for the Heliodent Plus can be
found in the separate operating manual for the X-ray unit.

Warranty and liability

In the interest of the safety and health of patients, users or third parties,
it is necessary that maintenance work is carried out at fixed time intervals
to ensure the operational safety and reliability of your product. For more
information, please refer to the section "Safety-related tests" [ → 11].
The operator must ensure the implementation of the maintenance work.
As a manufacturer of electro-medical equipment, we can consider
ourselves responsible for the safety characteristics of the device only if
maintenance and repairs are carried out only by us or by companies
authorized explicitly by us for this purpose and if components are
replaced with original spare parts in case of failure.
If the operator does not meet the obligation to carry out such maintenance
or fault messages are ignored, Sirona Dental Systems or its authorized
dealer does not assume any liability for damage caused.

Intended use

The operating light is designed for illumination of the treatment area and
may only be used by trained dental personnel.
The operating light is not intended for use in potentially explosive
environments.
Use in accordance with the intended purpose also includes compliance
with the operating instructions.
