3.10 PnP/PCI Configurations

3.10.1 PNP OS Installed
Select Yes if you are using a plug and play capable operating
system. Select No if you need the BIOS to configure non-boot
devices.
The choices: No, Yes.
3.10.2 Reset Configuration Data
Default is Disabled. Select Enabled to reset Extended System
Configuration Data (ESCD) when you exit Setup if you have
installed a new add-on and the system reconfiguration has
caused such a serious conflict that the OS cannot boot.
The choices: Enabled, Disabled
3.10.3 Resources Controlled By
BIOS can automatically configure all the boot and Plug and Play
compatible devices. If you choose Auto, you cannot select IRQ
DMA and memory base address fields, since BIOS automatically
assigns them.
The choices: Auto (ESCD) (Default), Manual.
