4.3 Fluid Delivery Basics

The system is a programmable power injector that enables an operator to generate a defined fluid delivery protocol and
execute a fluid injection.

4.3.1 Protocol

A protocol defines how the fluid injection will proceed and is comprised of three elements: phases, a pressure limit, and
optional reminders.
4.3.1.1 Phase
Phases are steps that define the actual movement of fluid, pauses, and/or holds.
