Overview

The Cisco Analog Telephone Adapter 190 Administration Guide for SIP (Version 1.0) provides the
information that you need to install, configure, and manage the Cisco ATA 190 Analog Telephone
Adapter (ATA 190) on a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) network.

Audience

This guide is intended for service providers and network administrators who administer Voice over IP
(VoIP) services using the ATA 190. Most of the tasks described in this guide are not intended for end
users of the ATA 190. Many of these tasks affect the ability of the ATA 190 to function on the network,
and require an understanding of IP networking and telephony concepts.
