Replacing the level switch/safety switch on the PH27/PH27A

Required components
Level switch PH27/PH27A (Art.-No.: 2533040)
Safety switch PH27 (Art.-No.: 2533042)
Safety switch PH27A (Art.-No.: 2533046)
Replacement
1. Set the PH27/PH27A out of operation and disconnect it from the mains (unplug mains cable).
On units PH27A additionally close the water supply and, if necessary, disconnect the supply line
from the connection of the unit.
2. Remove water carrier/blanking cover.
3. Remove air outlet lattice. Then, undo the 4 screws (Torx 15) of the cover of the electronic com-
partment and flap the cover to the side.
Attention! The electronic components on the control board are very susceptible to electrostatic
discharges. For the protection of these components, measures must be taken for all work on the
control board to prevent damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD–protection).
4. Disconnect the cable of the level switch/safety switch on the control board. Open/remove all
cable fastener and cable straps.
5. Loosen some turns the counter nut of the level switch /safety switch and remove level switch/
safety switch with the cable.
6. Insert the new level switch/safety switch in the corresponding position into the float mounting
support and fix it with the counter nut.
