The following table lists symptoms of malfunction that may occur in daily operation of the Defensor
PH... units, together with possible causes and suggested remedies.
Symptom
Unit does not work, LC display
remains dark
Unit does not humidify.
Room air does not reach
the set reference humidity
value.

PH15/PH27: Water tank not tight (tank cap not tight and/or level regulating valve in the tank
cap blocked or defective). Unit is not placed on a horizontal surface. Safety switch defec-
tive.
PH15A/PH27A: Inlet valve defective. Level switch defective. Safety switch defective.

Cause
