Malfunction
Shower cycles from
hot to cold.
Unable to select a
cool enough shower
during summer
months.
Operation of
temperature knob has
little or no effect on
water temperature.
No water and motor
tone increases.
Cause
The temperature knob is
positioned at an unsafe
level causing the Elite 2
thermal trip to operate
and cut the power to the
heater tank.
Handset sprayplate
blocked.
Due to the rise in water
mains supply temperature,
the power rating may be
too high.
Handset sprayplate
blocked.
Cistern has run out of
water.
Internal pump unit faulty
or thermal trip has
operated.
Remedy
Turn the temperature knob
sufficiently anti clock-wise to
increase water flow and
reduce temperature.
Remove and clean (Refer to
Maintenance in the I, O & M
guide for the fitings).
Turn the TOP knob to
MEDIUM setting and
re-adjust temperature knob
until suitable temperature is
achieved.
Remove Handset and clean
(Refer to Maintenance in the
I, O & M guide for the fitings).
If fault still persists contact
your installer.
Turn off the Elite 2
immediately and resolve
cistern storage difficulty.
Wait for internal pump/shower
to cool down. If still faulty
contact your installer.
