Editing Your Musical Performance Data
Song files that you record can be edited using five different
functions.
The following editing functions are provided.
Menu
Delete Measure
Deleting a Specific Measure.
Delete the Recording from a
Delete Track
Track.
Erase a specified portion of
Erase Event
the performance in a
specified area.
Copy
Copying Measures.
Quantize
Correct Timing Inaccuracies.
Change the name of the
Rename
performance data.
Once you edit data, it cannot be restored to its original
condition. As a precaution against accidents, we
NOTE
recommend that you save your song to a USB memory
before you edit it (p. 180).
Deleting a Specific Measure
(Delete Measure)
You can delete a portion of the performance data. This
function lets you delete specified measures (bars) of the song
from all tracks. When any part of the song file is deleted,
subsequent recording will be moved forward to fill the gap.
Example: To delete measures (bars) 5–8
