and/or amplitude sweeps to the curve buffer. The SWEEP command continues to
function as a write/read command except when the curve buffer acquisition is
actually running. In such cases, the SWEEP command changes to read-only and will
only report values of 9, 10 or 11, indicating what type of linking is active. The sweep
can then only be stopped by stopping the curve buffer, using the HC command.
However, the user can still determine the progress of the sweep using the curve
buffer monitor "M" command and the OF and/or OA (oscillator frequency and
amplitude) commands.
Synchronous time constant control
n
Effect
0
Synchronous time constant disabled
1
Synchronous time constant enabled. The actual time constant is recalculated
when the TC setting is changed, but not if the reference frequency changes.
2
Auto synchronous time constant enabled. The actual time constant is
recalculated when the TC setting is changed and also if the reference frequency
changes.
Synchronous Oscillator control
n
Function
0
The oscillator is independent of the external reference frequency
1
The oscillator is a sine wave at the same frequency as the applied reference
signal but subject to any phase shift set by the phase control.
Auxiliary analog-to-digital input trigger mode
The value of n sets the trigger modes for the auxiliary ADC inputs according to the
following table:
n
Trigger Mode
0
Internal (1 kHz)
1
External - apply trigger to ADC TRIG IN connector
2
Burst ADC1 (5 µs per point, only ADC1 is converted)
3
Burst ADC1 & ADC2
Filter time constant control
The value of n sets the output filter time constant in accordance with the following
table:
