Tools and Equipment

Obtain these necessary tools and equipment:
Ratcheting torque flathead screwdriver that exerts up to 18 in-lb (2.03 N-m) of pressure.
For the protective ground connector, obtain a single or pair of stu size 6 ring terminals (such as
Hollingsworth part number R3456B or equivalent).
Crimping tool (such as Thomas & Bett part number WT4000, ERG-2001, or equivalent).
10-gauge copper ground wire.
For DC power connections, use UL- and CSA-rated, style 1007 or 1569 twisted-pair copper
appliance wiring material (AWM) wire.
Wire-stripping tools for stripping 10- and 18-gauge wires.
A number-2 Phillips screwdriver.
A flat-blade screwdriver.
