Auto Power Off Setting

The camera will turn off automatically (auto power off) in the recording and play
modes to conserve the battery if it is left idle (no buttons operated) for a preset
length of time. The time until the auto power off function is activated can be set
from OFF, 1 minute, 3 minutes or 5 minutes. (default setting: 1 minute for
recording/playback)
A Set the mode dial to [
B Select [CAMERA SETTINGS] and
press the
C Select [AUTO POWER OFF] and press
the button.
D Choose the time (OFF, 1 MIN., 3 MIN.,
5 MIN.) and then press the ENTER
button.
The display will return to the Camera
Settings menu.
E Press the CANCEL button to return to
the Setup menu.
• If the auto power off function has been activated, switch the camera on

again.
• When using the AC adapter, the auto power off function is disabled
even if the auto power off mode is set to on.
