C Select Manual Focus (MF) and then
press the ENTER button.
D Press the CANCEL button to exit the
menu display.
MF will be displayed on the LCD monitor.
E Press the
focus and press the shutter release
button to record the image.
To change the size of the subject, press the
zoom lever.
You can enlarge the center of the subject to
facilitate focus adjustment by pressing the
FUNCTION button.

Shooting in Redeye Reduction Mode (Redeye Reduc.)
If you shoot a subject in a dark place with the flash activated, the eyes of the subject
may appear red in the resultant picture. In redeye reduction mode, the flash will fire
several times before the shutter releases to lessen the redeye phenomenon.
