Turning the power on/off

Connect the plug of the power cord into the proper AC outlet on the wall.

WARNING
Use only the AC power cord supplied with your instrument. If the supplied cord is lost or damaged and needs
to be replaced, contact your Yamaha dealer. The use of an inappropriate replacement can pose a fire and
shock hazard!
CAUTION
When setting up the product, make sure that the AC outlet you are using is easily accessible. If some trouble
or malfunction occurs, immediately turn the power off and disconnect the plug from the outlet.
NOTE
• When disconnecting the plug from the AC outlet, first turn the power off, and then disconnect the plug.
• When you are not using the power cord, bundle it using the band.

Press the [P] (Standby/On) switch to turn the
power on.
The [P] (Standby/On) lamp lights up.
To turn the power off, press the switch again.
NOTE
The sound will not be properly output if a key was pressed when the power was turned on. Do not touch any keys
when turning the power on.
CAUTION
Even when the instrument is turned off, electricity is still flowing to the instrument at the minimum level. When you
are not using the instrument for a long time or during electrical storms, make sure you unplug the AC power plug
from the wall AC outlet.
The shape of the plug and outlet differ depending on your locale.
