When in the Silent Piano mode and a piano
Voice
is
selected,
pressing
reproduces the complicated interaction of both
strings and soundboard resonance by the VRM
technology (page 44), and makes the sound
more like a real acoustic piano.
The damper pedal features an expressive half-
pedal function, and allows you to set the degree
to which pressing the damper pedal applies the
half-pedal effect (page 43) when in the
TransAcoustic mode/Layer mode/Silent Piano
mode.
