If the connected device does not carry out any baud rate selection, the values must be the
same under the addresses 02:708 (Bd.S2) and 02:709. The factory setting is: 02:708 =
19200 Bd and 02:709 = 19200 Bd.

The set baud rate is only used briefly for introducing and terminating the data traffic. The
actual baud rate for transferring the useful data is increased automatically to 19200 Bd
within the scope of the protocol.
