7.7 Fuses and Circuit Breakers

•
American Wire Gauge. Maximum cable cross-
section is the largest cable cross-section that can
be attached to the terminals. Always observe
national and local regulations.
•
Type gG pre-fuses must be used. To maintain UL/
cUL, use pre-fuses of these types (see Table 7.2).
•
Measured using a 10 m (32.8 ft) shielded/
armoured motor cable with a rated load and
rated frequency.
Recommended maximum pre-fuse size 25 A
