Parameter
State
Shows the current status of the 9135 in relation to the network priorities, the
network configuration, and the root bridge; the possible states include:
Designated Root
Lists the identifier of the bridge that appears to this port to be the root.
Designated Cost
Shows the cost, in time, of the path from this port on the 9135 to the Root.
Designated Bridge Lists the identifier of the 9135 that this port belongs to.

Select another port on this 9135.
2. Priority
Set the relative precedence for this port within the STP control structure; 1 is
the highest priority and 65534 is the lowest.
3. Path Cost
Set the cost, in time, for this port on the 9135 as part of setting a specific
topology.
4. Main Menu

Blocking: Discards data packets from the network, sends BPDUs to the

Listening: Discards data packets from the network, sends BPDUs to the
system and transmits received BPDUs, responds to network
management messages.
Learning: Discards data packets from the network, adds the address
data to the local database, sends BPDUs and transmits received BPDUs,
responds to network management messages the port is learning the
network topology.
Forwarding: Forwards all data packets, adds the address data to the
local database, sends BPDUs and transmits received BPDUs, responds
to network management messages.
Disabled: Discards data packets from the network, ignores BPDUs,
responds to network management messages.
