4.5 Power Management

After the selection of this choice, it will appear the table shown on the right.
The selections mentioned in the table are just as an example; they can be
different from default values.
4.5.1 ACPI tables
This option allows enabling or disabling ACPI tables, used in power management
from the Operative System to administrate different power states.
4.5.2 Speed Step support
This option allows you to enable or disable Speed Step functionality, i.e. the
possibility for the board to vary CPU operative frequency, according to
augmented or reduced workload, in order to decrease power consumption when
the CPU is idle. Please notice that Speed Step is supported only by N2xx CPUs,
not by D2550 CPU.
4.5.3 C-States support
Use this option to enable or disable the handling of CPU's C-States from the O.S.
Please notice that Speed Step is supported only by N2xx CPUs, not by D2550
CPU.
4.5.4 UHCI (USB1.1) 0-1 wake
Using this option, it is possible to enable or disable USB ports 0 and 1, that are USB1.1 controlled by a single UHCI controller, for waking up the system from S3
(Suspend-To-RAM) state.
4.5.5 UHCI (USB1.1) 2-3 wake
Using this option, it is possible to enable or disable USB ports 2 and 3, that are USB1.1 controlled by a single UHCI controller, for waking up the system from S3
(Suspend-To-RAM) state.
4.5.6 UHCI (USB1.1) 4-5 wake
Using this option, it is possible to enable or disable USB ports 4 and 5, that are USB1.1 controlled by a single UHCI controller, for waking up the system from S3
(Suspend-To-RAM) state.
4.5.7 UHCI (USB1.1) 6-7 wake
Using this option, it is possible to enable or disable USB ports 0 and 1, that are USB1.1 controlled by a single UHCI controller, for waking up the system from S3
(Suspend-To-RAM) state.
