3.2.4 BOOT Strap Signals

Configuration straps are signals that, during system reset, are set as inputs (independently by their behaviour during normal operations) in order to allow the proper
configuration of the processor / chipset. For this reason, on QuadMo747-x2000 are placed the pull-up or pull-down resistors that are necessary to configure the
board properly.
The customer must avoid to place, on the carrier board, pull-up or pull-down resistors on signals that are used as strap signal, since it could result in malfunctions
of QuadMo747-x2000 module.
The following signals are used as configuration straps by QuadMo747-x2000 at system reset.
HDA_SDO: pin 67 of golden card edge connector. This pin sets the bit 1 of the PCI Express Port configuration register, which is used to determine the aggregation
modes of PCI express ports.
HDA_SYNC: pin 59 of golden card edge connector. This pin sets the bit 0 of the PCI Express Port configuration register, which is used to determine the
aggregation modes of PCI express ports.
LVDS_DID_DAT: pin 125 of golden card edge connector. Normally used as DisplayID DDC Data line, used as a pin-strap for LVDS flat Panel detection.
Bidirectional signal, electrical level +3.3V_S with a 2k2Ω pull-up resistor.
HDMI_CTRL_DAT: pin 150 of golden card edge connector. Normally used as DDC Data line for HDMI panel. Signal at +3.3V_S voltage level with a 2k2Ω pull-up
resistor. It is used as a strap signal of QuadMo747-x2000 module to configure properly the digital display interface used for HDMI / DVI / DP.
LPC_CLK: pin 189 of golden card edge connector. Signal at +3.3V_S voltage level with a 10kΩ pull-down resistor. This is a PLL strap used to set the main clock
frequencies of the board.
