3.3 Power Supply Wiring
3.3.1 Power supply wiring
Power supply wire
To minimize adverse effects from noise, twist the wires of the power supply cable.
Power supply type
-To protect the system against erroneous voltage from the power supply line, use an insulated power
supply with an internal protective circuit.
-The regulator on the FP-e is a non-insulated type.
-When using a power supply device without an internal protective circuit, male sure power is supplied to
the unit through a protective element such as a fuse.

Wiring system
Isolate the wiring systems to the control unit, input/output devices, and mechanical power devises.
Power supply sequence
-The power supply sequence should be set so that power to the FP-e is tuned off before the
input/output power turns off.
-If the input/output power supply turns off before the power to the FP-e turns off, the FP-e
will detect the input fluctuations and may start an unscheduled sequential operation.
