Using NfRemote

The Nf Remote IP remote interface software is a separate client application that can be

downloaded and installed on most recent desktop, laptop, or tablet PCs running Windows XP,

Vista, 7, 8, or 10. Touchscreen support is provided for touch-sensitive devices.

All of the AERO.2000 front panel parameter adjustments can also be made via the Nf Remote

client. The remote has additional capabilities:

• Streaming audio back over the local network to the host computer. Audio can be

monitored pre and post processing and at several points internal to the loudness

controller.

• Presets (System I/O setup, main upmix, local upmix, loudness control) can each be saved

to the host PC and restored from the host PC.

• The entire AERO.2000 configuration can be saved to and restored from the host PC.

• Presets and configurations can be shared between AERO.2000 units.

• Six meter configurations, each unique to a given PC, can be saved to the local PC and

recalled at the push of a button.

• Multiple NfRemote session can be run on a single PC for metering and control of

multiple AERO.2000 units.

• Multiple PCs can connect to AERO.2000 simultaneously.

Note!

If the AERO.2000 IP address is 127.0.0.1 this indicates that there is not a valid IP

connection to the AERO.2000.

If the AERO.2000 shows an IP address of 169.x.x.x it is connected to a valid

Ethernet port but it cannot a fetch a DHCP address or a fixed IP address has not

been set by the user.

These instructions assume that the IP address of the PC being used has been entered in the

AERO.2000 white list. If this has not been done, see section 5-4.
