Access via the I/O addresses

Principle
You can access the SM 335 via I/O addresses.
Input values
Input values are values supplied by the SM 335. The input values contain measu-
red values of the SM 335.
You can load the input values via L PIB (or L PIW or L PID) operation. As an alter-
native, read access is possible within the process image via L IB (or L IW or L ID).
(see Table 3-1, Subsection 3.1.1)
Output values
Output values are values you write to the SM 335 via T PQB (or T PQW or T PQD)
operation. As an alternative, write access is possible within the process image via
T IB (or T IW or T ID).
You can transfer analog values to the SM 335 via output values. The output values
are output via the SM 355's analog outputs. (see Table 3-4, Subsection 3.1.2)
