Module diagnostic byte 4 (byte 3)

Format
Two different errors are flagged in module diagnostic byte 4
(see Figure 3-13).

EEPROM fault
Bit 2 is set in module diagnostic byte 4 when the SM 335 detects an internal error
in the EEPROM.
ADC/DAC fault
Bit 4 is set in module diagnostic byte 4 when the SM 335 detects an analog-digital
or digital-analog conversion fault.
Such an error might occur for one of three reasons:
• No 24 V load voltage or below 15 V
• EMC problem
• Internal hardware fault
