CP1E CPU Unit Hardware User's Manual(W479)
Cause
A non-fatal error has occurred.
Cause
1. The input is not set for being
used.
2. The input wiring is wrong.
3. The input device is not working.
4. there is a disconnection.
1. The input signal range setting is
wrong.
2. The input device's signal range
does not match the input signal
range for the relevant input num-
ber at the CP1E CPU Unit.
3. When using the 4 mA to 20 mA
range, the VIN and I IN terminal is
not shorten.
The input signals are being affected
by external noise.
Cause
1. The output is not set for being
used.
2. The conversion value is set out-
side of the permissible range.
1. The output signal range setting is
wrong.
2. The Analog I/O specifications of
the output device do not match
those of the CP1E CPU Unit
(e.g., input signal range, input
impedance).
The output signals are being affected
by external noise.
6 Troubleshooting
Remedy
Refer to 6-1-10 .
Remedy
Check PLC setup, set analog input to
"Use" and restart CP1E CPU Unit.
Correct wiring according to 3-1-3 .
Using a tester, check to see if the
input voltage or current is changing.
Check A434.00 (AD0) or A434.01
(AD1) flug (open-circuit disconnec-
tion.)
Correct the input signal range setting
and restart CP1E CPU Unit.
Check the specifications of the input
device, match the settings for the
input signal ranges and restart CP1E
CPU Unit.
Short VIN and I IN terminal.
Insert a 0.01-µF to 0.1-µF ceramic
capacitor or film capacitor between
the input's VIN/I IN and COM termi-
nals.
Use averaging function.
Remedy
Check PLC setup,set analog output
to "Use" and restart CP1E CPU Unit.
Set the data within the range.
-10 to 10V: F448 to 0BB8 Hex
Other ranges: 0000 to 1770 Hex
Correct the output signal range set-
ting and restart CP1E CPU unit.
Change the output device.
Try changing the shielded cable con-
nection (e.g., the grounding at the
output device).
