TROUBLESHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE
Leaks in the gas line connec-
tion.
Pycnometer was left in man-
ual mode with all the valves
open or the fill valve open
and the chamber cap off.
Pressurize the system. Close,
then open the Cylinder Shut-
Off Valve.
If
the needle on
the pressure gauge on the gas
cylinder jwnps abruptly, a
leak in the gas line connec-
tions may be indicated.
Check all gas line connections
(refer to Rear Panel Connec-
tions in Chapter 2 for connec-
tion instructions).
Close all valves, then attach a
new tank of heliwn.
