CAUTION
Use on skin sensitive to heat
Skin irritation due to overheating
► Do not use the product in case of a known heat allergy.
► When in doubt, do not continue to use the product if skin irrit­
ation occurs.
NOTICE
Use of a worn or damaged product
Limited effectiveness
► Instruct the patient to inspect the product for proper function­
ality, wear and damage prior to each use.
► Advise the patient that the product must not be used if the
product or part of the product exhibits signs of wear (e.g.
cracks, deformation, poor fit) or damage.
> The wrist strap is open.
> The thumb closure is loosened.
1) Pull the orthosis over the thumb.
2) Guide the wrist strap through the guide loop (see fig. 2) and
fasten it (see fig. 3).
3) Close the thumb closure (see fig. 4).
4.4 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
► Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
Clean the orthosis regularly:
1) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
2) Hand wash the orthosis in warm water at 30 °C with standard
mild detergent.
3) Rinse well.
