10.4.8 Maximum message time

The Maximum message time determines the maximum duration of a
message. Default the Max. message time is set to 120 seconds.
Set the Max. message time as follows:
Enter the Answering machine Settings menu and scroll through the menu
until the display shows Max. message time or continue from the previous
paragraph by pressing NEXT.
Answ. machine Settings
Max. message time: 120s
NEXT - CHANGE +
Press - or + to set the Maximum message time .
Other options:
NEXT to continue with the Silence period
BACK to leave Answering machine Settings.
10.4.9 Silence period
The Silence period is a backup to failing busy tone detection to stop
recording a message. When the line is silent for a period longer then the set
Silence period the FeaturePhone 175 will assume the remote caller haa
hung up.
Set the Silence period as follows:
Enter the Answering machine Settings menu and scroll through the menu
until the display shows Silence period or continue from the previous
paragraph by pressing NEXT.
Answ. machine Settings
Max. message time: 120s
NEXT - CHANGE +
Press - or + to set the Silence period.
Silence period is the last item in the Answering machine Settings menu.
Press BACK to leave the Answering machine Settings menu.
