Charging the Battery
Ensure that you follow the guidelines for battery safety described in Battery Safety Guidelines on page 9-2.
CAUTION
Before using the MC9500-K for the first time, charge the battery using either a charging cable or a cradle:

Four Bay Ethernet Cradle.
Align and hook the MC9500-K interface pocket onto the cradle's or cable's cleat. The battery automatically begins
charging. See

Indicates that the:
battery is not charging
MC9500-K is not connected correctly to the cradle or not connected to a
power source.
cradle is not powered.
Indicates that a healthy battery is charging.
Indicates that an unhealthy battery is charging.
Indicates that a healthy battery is fully charged.
Indicates that an unhealthy battery is fully charged.
