Chapter 4 Networking Mode and System Configuration
The OL16A optical interface board is not supported when the
TAAED board is configured. The time division capacity can
reach 1008 × 1008VC12 when the TAAE board is configured,
and the line card cannot be inserted in the Slot A4.
OL16A
Only Slots A1 and B1 can hold the OL16A boards. It is
recommended to use Slot A1 first, so that Slot B1 can be
used for other boards.
OL4A
As the OL4A must occupy the bandwidth of 2 × 622 M, only
Slots A2 ~ A4 can be used for it. Once this board is
configured, the corresponding Group B slots can no longer
hold the OL1A, ASB, ASC, ES, TFLA and ESD board with the
GE interface, but only the E1BU, E1C and the ESD board
without the GE interface.
OL1A/ASB/ASC/TFLA
OL1A, ASB, ASC and TFLA can be inserted in any slots of A2
~ A4 and B2 ~ B4.
ES/E1C
As the ES and E1C must be jointly used with the board
configured at the back of the system, it is recommended that
Slots B1 ~ B4 should be used. The E1C can be configured in
Slots B1 ~ B4, and the ES can be configured in Slots B2 ~
B3.
E1BU/EIBB
Slots B1 ~ B4 are used for E1BU/E1BB.
Ethernet Card
There are these
ES/TFLA/ESDGE/ESS8E/ETS8E/EMFGE/EMFGF/ESOGE/ESQG
E/ETQ/EMHGE/EMHGF.
The ES board can only reside in slots B2 ~ B4. The ESL
board resides in the relevant slots B2L ~ B4L. The
TFLA/ESDGE board reside in slots A2 ~ A4 or B2 ~ B4. The
ESS8E/ETS8E board resides in slots A2 ~ A4 or B1 ~ B4. The
EMHGE/EMHGF board
EMFGE/EMFGF board resides in slots A2 ~ A4. The ESOGE
board resides in slots A2 ~ A4. The relevant slot B cannot
hold the OL1A 、 ASB 、 ASC 、 ES 、 TFLA
ESDGE/ESBGE/ETQGE board. It can hold the E1BU, EIC, and
ESS8E/ETS8E/ESQGE board. The ESQGE/ETQ board reside in
slots A2 ~A4 or B2 ~B4.
EAT
The EAT board resides in any slot of group A or group B.
