e recommend that you become acquainted with the information in this manual before ener-
gizing your UPLC™ system. Failure to do so may result in injury to personnel or damage to the
equipment, and may affect the equipment warranty. If you mount the carrier set in a cabinet, it
must be bolted to the floor or otherwise secured before you swing out the equipment, to prevent
the installation from tipping over.
You should not remove or insert printed circuit modules while the UPLC™ is energized. Failure
to observe this precaution can result in undesired tripping output and can cause component
damage.
