If you need help, you can use the standard FTP help command to get a list of commands (not all are operational on
this server). Entering help <command_name> provides help on the specified command. For further information,
please check the Dm724-I FTP Protocol manual.
Thanks to the quote site statbuffer command, you can view the status of the buffer at any time. If you wish to delete
it, use the quote site clearbuffer command.

4.3.2 Updating via XModem

This updating method is recommended when there is no IP connection to the device or in case of an emergency.
To update:
• Set microswitch c in the ON position and switch the device on. The transfer speed is 115200 bps by default. To
change the speed, you must access the device console and set the new speed (the following figure shows you
how to do this).
• Wait until the WAN1 LED is green and the S LED is slowly flashing yellow. The device is waiting to load the code.
• Load the application file using a program that can send data via the XModem protocol. You will notice that the S
LED is flashing rapidly, indicating that the transfer is in progress. If the S LED turns red, the transfer has failed. Re-
peat the process slowing down the speed.
