A local device interface on the front side of the starter is provided as standard.
This interface can be used to connect either an optional external operating and
display module (refer to Chapter 9.3.8 "Accessories" ), or the "Softstarter ES
smart" operating, monitoring and parameterizing software (refer to Chapter 9.3.8
"Accessories" , Software) using a PC and connecting cables.
The SIRIUS 3RW44 soft starter can be fitted with an optional Profibus module
(only with product delivery after 12/05). The soft starter can be connected to the
Profibus, operated and parameterized via the interface. The "Softstarter ES
professional" operating, monitoring and parameterizing software (refer to
Chapter 9.3.8 "Accessories" , Software) can also be connected to this interface
using a PC and connecting cables.
