5.4 Connecting the power supply
For USA and Canada:
A UL-listed power supply cable must be used in the United States and Canada.
110V power supply
Use a flexible cable with the following characteristics:
• UL approval
• Type SJT with three conductors
• At least 18 AWG conductor cross-section
• Maximum 4.5 m length
• Parallel grounding plug 15 A, min. 125 V
230V power supply
Use a flexible cable with the following characteristics:
• UL approval
• Type SJT with three conductors
• At least 18 AWG conductor cross-section
• Maximum 4.5 m length
• Tandem grounding plug 15 A, min. 250 V
Procedure
1. Insert the supplied power cable into the AC/DC power socket of the device.
2. Lock the power plug with the interlocking device supplied in the package. This will

prevent unintentional detachment of the IEC power connector on the device.
