Adjusting the front brake cable RC 318T
1. Remove the covers.
2. Make sure that the parking brake is not applied.
Adjust the brake.
3. Tighten the locknuts after adjustment. Tighten the
nuts moderately to prevent damage to the
threads.
4. Assemble the covers.
NOTE: If you replace the spring on the front
brake cable, remember to replace the spring
on the other front brake cable as well. If both
springs are not replaced at the same time, the
brake power can differ between left and right
side.

Adjusting the brake cable RC320T AWD
1. Remove the left fender.
2. Make sure that the parking brake is not applied.
3. Adjust the play between the casing and the
adjustment screw to 1mm (0.0040") when one
pulls the casing. This gives play on the pedal of
approximately 40mm (1.5"). Adjust the nuts on
the adjustment screw.
4. Tighten the locknuts after adjustment. Tighten the
nuts moderately to prevent damage to the
threads.
5. Assemble the left fender.
NOTE: Do a check of the parking brake again
after adjustments have been made.
WARNING: An incorrectly adjusted
parking brake can result in reduced
braking ability.
