By default, console login is enabled both locally and remotely and it does not require authentication.
The default user role is network-admin. To improve device security, configure password or scheme
authentication for the AUX line immediately after you log in to the device for the first time.
To configure console login, perform the following tasks:

Console login configuration changes do not take effect for current online users. They take effect only
for new login users.
