3.2. Fiber Optic Ports
The RS950G features optional small form-factor pluggable (SFP), fiber optic, 100FX or 1000LX,
transceiver ports. The RS950G supports the use of LC connectors in the SFP ports. The Transmit
(Tx) and Receive (Rx) connections of each port must be properly connected and matched for
proper link and operation.
The RS950G automatically disables the copper port when an SFP transciever is
installed in the corresponding fiber port.
