For High Availability Networks requiring redundant, parallel physical and layer 2 hardware, use
the RS950G and RuggedNet™ devices in Parallel Redudancy Protocol (PRP) mode. Similar to
HSR, duplicate packets are generated by the sending node and are removed by the receiving
node. Note that PRP allows the use of singly attached on the network. This example shows the
use of both RS950G devices and the RuggedNet™ OEM module.
