3. Axes limits can also be manually set to numeric values in the bottom section of the 3D View
window. The 3D graph viewing angle can be changed with a set of 3D buttons:
Alternatively, you can rotate the display in any direction by simply clicking and dragging the
3D graph. If you release the mouse button during dragging, the 3D display will continue to ro-
tate in the direction of the mouse drag.
The bottom section of the 3D View window has boxes containing the numeric axes limits, as
well as scroll bars, for the X, Y and Z axes. The numeric axes limits update the visual graph
limits, but are also updated by the axes zoom buttons. Clicking and dragging the scroll bars
updates the visual graph, while maintaining the delta set in the numeric axes boxes.

4.8 Layout Window
The Layout window is accessed from the Scope window 'Layout' button
The 'Layout window is used to prepare your data for publication. The Scope window input sig-
nals and associated Analysis window graphs are transferred to the Layout window for graph-
ical arranging and editing.
A toolbar display in the upper-right corner of the window. There are two configuration buttons
at the top: 'Operate Mode' and "Draw Mode'.
When you close the Layout window, you have the option of saving a name "window recreation
macro". To later restore the window, go to the Igor menu 'Windows / Layout Macros" and select
the macro name.
4.9 Command Window
The Command window is labeled with the currently loaded Experiment filename. This window is an
Igor code interpreter, for programmatic interaction with SutterPatch.
Commands can be entered into the command buffer in the lower portion of the window. A history of
commands and responses is displayed in the upper portion of the window.
