• Setting the rear wheel camber to 0°
Position the tapered washer on the outside of the rear wheel adapter with the thicker side pointing upwards into
the desired engaging position (you will find »-2°« engraved on the outside).
Place the second tapered washer (with the thinner side pointing upwards) on the inside of the rear wheel
adapter into the corresponding engaging position (you will find »+2°« engraved on the inside). The outsides of
the two camber washers are now in parallel positions (see sketch). Insert the quick-release axle housing and
slightly tighten the hexagon nuts (Fig. 42, items A, C) once you have applied the retaining washer from the
inside. Check the space between the rear wheel and the side panel. You can adjust the space by rotating the
fitting.
Finally, tighten the hexagon nuts with a torque of 50 Nm.
• Setting the rear wheel camber to 2°
Position the tapered washer on the outside of the rear wheel adapter with the thicker side pointing upwards into
the desired engaging position (you will find »-2°« engraved on the outside).
Place the second tapered washer (with the thinner side pointing upwards) from the outside against the first
tapered washer (you will find »+2°« engraved on the outside). The outsides of the two camber washers are now
in parallel positions (see sketch). Insert the quick-release axle housing and slightly tighten the hexagon nuts
(Fig. 42, items A, C) once you have applied the retaining washer from the inside. Check the space between the
rear wheel and the side panel. You can adjust the space by rotating the fitting.
Finally, tighten the hexagon nuts with a torque of 50 Nm.
• Setting the rear wheel camber to 4°
Position the tapered washer on the outside of the rear wheel adapter with the thinner side pointing upwards into
the desired engaging position (you will find »+2°« engraved on the outside).
Place the second tapered washer (with the thicker side pointing upwards) on the inside of the rear wheel
adapter into the corresponding engaging position (you will find »-2°« engraved on the inside). The outsides of the
two camber washers are now in parallel positions (see sketch). Insert the quick-release axle housing and slightly
tighten the hexagon nuts (Fig. 42, items A, C) once you have applied the retaining washer from the inside. Check
the space between the rear wheel and the side panel. You can adjust the space by rotating the fitting.
Finally, tighten the hexagon nuts with a torque of 50 Nm.
• Setting the rear wheel camber to 6°
Position two tapered washers on the outside of the rear wheel adapter with the thinner side pointing upwards
into the desired engaging position (you will find »+2°« engraved on the outside).
Place two other tapered washers (with the thicker side pointing upwards) on the inside of the rear wheel adapter
into the corresponding engaging position (you will find »-2°« engraved on the inside). The outsides of the four
camber washers are now in parallel positions (see sketch).
• Setting the rear wheel camber to 8°
Position three tapered washers on the outside of the rear wheel adapter with the thinner side pointing upwards
into the desired engaging position (you will find »+2°« engraved on the outside).
Place three other tapered washers (with the thicker side pointing upwards) on the inside of the rear wheel
adapter into the corresponding engaging position (you will find »-2°« engraved on the inside). The outsides of the
six camber washers are now in parallel positions (see sketch).
• Note: Please be aware that with a larger negative camber the overall width of the wheelchair increases and the
rear wheels are subjected to greater stresses! With large negative camber a seat inclination of 0° is recom-
mended!
