24 Air Bag system
By using the key lock switch in the glove box it is possible to
deactivate and activate the frontal and lateral passenger Air Bags.
This measure is necessary in the e e x x c c e e p p t t i i o o n n a a l l cases where a child
seat must be installed in the passenger seat.

• Turn the ignition to the off position
• Turn the key lock switch to the "O O F F F F " position using the ignition key.
• Ensure that when the ignition is switched to the "ON" position, the "A A I I R R
B B A A G G O O F F F F " warning light always comes on.

• Turn the ignition to the off position
• Turn the key lock switch to the "O O N N " position using the ignition key.
• Ensure that when the ignition is switched on, the "A A I I R R B B A A G G O O F F F F " warning
light does not come on.

This warning light will light when the ignition is turned on as long as the
passenger Air Bags are deactivated.
