Shock Linkage Inspection/Installation - Honda XR80R Service Manual

REAR WHEEL/BRAKE/SUSPENSION
Remove [he bolt and lower chain slider.
Remove the follow ing:
- Shock abso rber lower mounting nut/bolt
- Shock abso rber connect ing ,od nuts/bo lts
- Shock absorber arm nutJbolt
Remo ve the shock absorbe, connecting rod and
shock abso rber a, m.
INSPECTION
Remov e the dust sea ls and collars and chec k the
bushing for damage.
Measure the bush i ng 1.0.
SERVICE LIMIT: 18.25
mm
(0.7 19 in l
SERVI CE LIMIT: 11.91 mm 1 0.105 inl
INSTALLATION

Apply molybdenum disulfide paste to each bushifl9
slid iflg surface and dust
~eals.
