Front End Interface

This group of Diagnostics, test the MRX Board.
NOTE: Same type of tests as the tests available for GFI.

Name: Description:
Performs a signal path test of
MRX Swept
the swept demodulator FPGA
Demodulator Test
on the MRX.
MRX Front End Test that the MRX can access
Interface Test Front End cards.
Tests the analog circuitry of
MRX Analog Test
the MRX Board.
Tests the internal and external
MRX Memory RAM of the MRX Board.
Access Test (Same as the Memory Test
folder).
Reads the version of the GFE
GFE Access Test
block in the MVP FPGA.
Tests the LVDS connection
Relay LVDS Test between the MRX interface
and the GRLY.
Test Front End card rack fan
Fan Test control and fan speed
measurements.
Test communication with the
MRX GTX Test
GTX Board.

Run Time:

Replace the MRX board.
1.) Replace the MRX Board.
2.) If the diagnostic identifies problems with other

boards, run tests on those boards also.
3.) Replace any other failed boards as identified by
the diagnostics for those boards.
1.) Also run the Analog RX Tests (high, medium, low

gain) for a complete test of the MRX gain.
2.) Replace the MRX Board.
