What has happened
when ...
... You can't dial a phone
number any longer?
... don't receive any calls?
... during call forwarding the
forwarding conditions are
not displayed?
... the telephone also rings for
fax-PC calls?
... when dialling with the
PABX no connection can be or
the wrong connection is
established?
... ... the handset does not
ring as set?
... a few of the ISDN functions
do not operate as indicated?
... another telephone on the
So bus does not ring?
... the caller hears the phone
ringing although the MSN is
busy?
Possible cause
The long distance prefix has
changed.
The telephone is blocked.
Call forwarding Immediately is
activated.
The assignment of the MSN to
the internal party is missing.
The authorisation Internal only
is set.
Internal call forwarding is
activated.
The phone number is in the
phone number list of the base
telephone.
The prefix code is either no
entered or is incorrectly entered.
There is a different setting for
the ringer melody for the MSN.
The ISDN function is not
enabled.
The same MSN was assigned to
the telephones. One of the
telephones also has internal call
forwarding activated.
The MSN was saved in devices
also used on the ISDN
connection.
Appendix
Possible solution
Check the long distance prefix
and correct it (page 78).
Check the status display,
unlock the telephone if
necessary (page 11).
Switch off call forwarding
Immediately (page 70).
Define the incoming MSN
(page 66).
Change the authorisation
(page 61).
Activate external call
forwarding (page 70).
Apply to have this activated by
the network provider.
Delete the corresponding
phone number (MSN) in the list
(page 66).
Check and correct the prefix
code (page 91).
Change the ringer tone melody
(page 68).
Contact the network provider.
Deactivate internal call
forwarding or set external call
forwarding (page 69).
The phone number which is
supposed to be used for call
protection during a call should
be deleted from the list of
phone numbers for each
individual additional device.
