Summit X440-8p Switch

The front panel of the Summit X440-8p switch
Eight fixed autosensing 100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports (ports 1–8). In addition to 8 Gbps of
high-density copper connectivity, these ports also supports the PoE+ IEEE 802.3a standard and
provide up to 30 Watts of power per port up to a total power budget of 170 Watts.
Four unpopulated SFP ports (ports 9–12) that provide 4 Gbps of fiber connectivity. The SFP ports
support both 100BASE-FX and 1000BASE-X optical modules.

Two high-performance stacking ports with associated LEDs
Ethernet management port
Serial console port implemented as an RJ-45 connector, used to connect a terminal and perform local
management
