Chapter 3: Settng up the Printer

Returning a printer

Follow these instructions if you need to return a printer
for servicing.
1.
If you are sending the printer to CognitiveTPG
for repair, please visit the Support section of the
CognitiveTPG website to submit an online RMA
request form. You may also contact us at (800)
410-1827 extension 3 or direct at (607) 274-2490,
extension 3 to request an RMA number.
2.
Pack the printer as follows:
a.
Remove the ribbon cassette.
b.
Place the two cardboard supports on the slip
table, as shown on the left below.
c.
Place the printer in the corrugated pack
(below), place the packed printer in the box
(not shown) and secure the box with packing
tape.

An RMA # and return address will be provided when
the RMA request is processed. Please be sure to
write the RMA# on the outside of the box and return
to the address provided.
