The Infusomat® Space Volumetric
Infusion pump includes an ultrasonic air
detection sensor that is used to detect
air in the disposable set. Per the
requirements of the IEC 60601-2-24
(2nd Ed. 51.104 and 3rd Ed.
201.12.4.4.107) the software uses this
sensor to detect the accumulation of air
not to exceed 1 ml/15 minutes of any
air bubbles greater than or equal to
0.01 ml (10 uL). The air accumulating
