3.7 System Start Up

The procedure in this section requires user-wiring and
application programming to be completed. 6 Application
Examples is intended to help with this task. Other aids to
application set-up are listed in 1.3 Additional Resources. The
following procedure is recommended after application set-
up by the user is completed.
CAUTION
MOTOR START!
Ensure that the motor, system and any attached
equipment is ready for start. It is the responsibility of the
user to ensure safe operation under any condition. Failure
to do so could result in personal injury or equipment
damage.
1. Press [Auto On].
2. Ensure that external control functions are
properly wired to the frequency converter and all
programming is completed.
3. Apply an external run command.

4. Adjust the speed reference> throughout the
speed range.
5. Remove the external run command.
