Start Up and Commissioning
If deceleration problems were encountered
If warnings or alarms occur, see 8 Warnings and
Alarms.
Check that motor data is entered correctly.
Increase the ramp-down time decel time in
3-42 Ramp 1 Ramp Down Time.
Enable overvoltage control in 2-17 Over-voltage
Control.
NOTE
The OVC algorithm does not work when using PM motors.
See 4.1.1 Local Control Panel for resetting the frequency
converter after a trip.
NOTE
3.2 Applying Power to 3.3 Basic Operational Programming
conclude the procedures for applying power to the
frequency converter, basic programming, set-up and
functional testing.

3.5 System Start Up

The procedure in this section requires user-wiring and
application programming to be completed. See
6 Application Examples for application set-up information.
The following procedure is recommended after application
set-up by the user is completed.
CAUTION
MOTOR START!
Ensure that the motor, system, and any attached
equipment is ready for start. It is the responsibility of the
user to ensure safe operation under any condition. Failure
to do so could result in personal injury or equipment
damage.
1.
Press [Auto On].
2.
Ensure that external control functions are
properly wired to the frequency converter and all
programming is completed.
3.
Apply an external run command.
4.
Adjust the speed reference throughout the speed
range.
5.
Remove the external run command.
6.
Note any problem.
If warnings or alarms occur, see 8 Warnings and Alarms.
